What's in the Whole-Garden System?+
Two concentrated liquid fertilisers: Medigrow (Phase 1 — nitrogen-led growth & lawn feed) and Medibud (Phase 2 — phosphorus & potassium bloom & fruit feed). It's the complete two-step feeding cycle for the whole garden.
Why two products instead of one all-purpose fertiliser?+
Because plants need different nutrients at different stages: nitrogen for growth and leaf, then phosphorus & potassium for flowers and fruit. A single all-purpose bottle compromises — the system gives the right NPK at the right time, so you stop guessing.
Which do I use, and when?+
Use Medigrow in the growth phase — spring green-up, leafy growth and lawns. Switch to Medibud once plants are budding, flowering or fruiting. In Australia that's broadly spring–autumn, with spring the key feed and near year-round feeding in warm regions like Queensland.
Is it safe around kids and pets?+
Medibud is made from natural minerals — not from blood, bone or fish meal — so unlike many organic fertilisers it won't tempt pets with a strong food smell. It's safe around children and pets when used as directed (2 mL per litre of water); just let foliage dry after feeding.
Will it cover my whole garden — lawn, veggies, fruit and natives?+
Yes — Medigrow handles lawn and leafy growth, Medibud handles flowering and fruiting, so between them you can feed lawn, beds, veggies, fruit trees and pots. One note: go easy on phosphorus-sensitive natives (use Medigrow, which is lower in phosphorus).
How is this different from Seasol or Charlie Carp?+
Those are single products — Seasol is a seaweed tonic, Charlie Carp is a fish emulsion (which can smell). The Whole-Garden System is a complete, two-phase mineral feeding programme with the right NPK for each stage, and no fishy smell.
How long does the bundle last, and what does it cost per feed?+
Both feed at 2 mL per litre. The 5 L system makes 5,000 L of feed combined — a full season for most gardens — at around 30c per feed.
What if I don't see a difference?+
